Our save-the-date texts

This messaging service is operated by Jessica Abrams and Joshua Rudgayzer for their wedding on Sunday, February 7, 2027. The website sends each invited household one automated text message containing a link unique to them, where they can see their save the date and give us the mailing address we need to post their formal invitation.

Who receives messages

A fixed, closed list of invited households, loaded into the site before any message is sent, each at a mobile number the household gave us themselves. No numbers are bought, scraped, rented or shared. Nothing here is marketing and nothing is for sale, and no message is ever sent to a number that is not on that list.

What the messages say

One message with our save-the-date link, and at most one reminder if it has not been opened. That is the whole programme.

How guests agreed to be texted

In person, by phone, or by message. Guests gave us their mobile number directly when we asked, in these words or very close to them:

"Can I get your mobile number so we can text you our save the date? You would get one text with a link, and maybe one reminder. Message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP any time to get nothing further."

Or in writing, on this page. Using the form below, or the optional tick box on the mailing-address form that comes with each guest's personal link. Both show the wording quoted in the box below the form.

Message frequency, rates, and stopping

  • Message frequency varies — expect one or two messages in total.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP at any time to receive nothing further.
  • Reply HELP, or email us, for help.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Stopping the texts does not cancel your invitation — it will still arrive by post. Consent to be texted is never required for anything: you can give us your address, and receive an invitation, without agreeing to any message.

Your information

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share mobile numbers or opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or any other purpose. Full detail is in our privacy notice and terms.

Add your number

Entirely optional. Ticking the box is the only thing that signs you up for messages. Leave it unticked and press the button and nothing is recorded at all — your invitation still comes by post either way.
