This website and its guest notification service are operated by Jessica Abrams and Joshua Rudgayzer for their wedding on Sunday, February 7, 2027. The site sends each invited household one automated text message containing a link unique to them, where they can see their save the date and give us the mailing address we need to post their formal invitation. Nothing is sold or advertised here, and no information is shared with anyone else.

Who is responsible

Jessica Abrams and Joshua Rudgayzer, a private couple in New York, acting as individuals. Contact: jessgotjoshed@gmail.com.

What we collect

Two kinds of information.

Things you tell us. If you fill in the address form: your name, postal address including country, optionally an email address and mobile number, how many people are in your party, and the names of anyone joining you.

Things we already had. The name and mobile number you gave us personally, so we could invite you.

Things recorded automatically. When your personal link is opened we record that it was opened, when, the browser and device type, and the IP address of the request. We also record whether the envelope was opened and whether the address form was submitted. This is so we know who has seen their save the date and who may need a reminder.

What we do with it

  • Post you a wedding invitation.
  • Know who has received and opened their save the date.
  • Contact you about the wedding if something changes.

Nothing else. There is no advertising here, no analytics product, no tracking across other websites, and no profiling.

What we do not do

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your information with third parties for marketing or any other purpose. It is not passed to advertisers, data brokers, affiliates, or lead generators. It is used by the two of us, for our wedding, and nothing else.

Who else touches it

Two service providers, both acting only on our instructions: Twilio, which delivers the text message carrying your link, and Render, which hosts this website and the database. Your mobile carrier necessarily handles the message itself. Neither provider is permitted to use your information for their own purposes.

Text messages

We text your personal link once, and may send at most one reminder if you have not opened it. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to any message to receive nothing further, or HELP for help. Opting out will not affect your invitation — we will simply post it without hearing from you first.

How long we keep it

Until the invitations have been posted and the wedding has passed, after which the database is deleted. You can ask us to delete your details sooner and we will.

Your choices

Ask us and we will tell you exactly what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can also change your own address at any time from your personal link. Just email jessgotjoshed@gmail.com.

Keeping it safe

The site is served over HTTPS. Your personal link contains a long random code, so it cannot be guessed, though anyone you forward it to could see and change your entry — please treat it as yours. The admin area is password protected. No payment details are collected anywhere on this site.

Children

This site is not directed at children. Where a guest lists children in their party, those names are supplied by the accompanying adult purely so the invitation is addressed correctly.
